Ravelry In-Store Pattern Sales Program

What It is

Ravelry is offering a service for local yarn shops (LYS's), and their customers who want to buy Annie's patterns through brick-and-mortar shops! Shop owners (LYSO's) can opt in to this service. If you are a local yarn shop owner and interested in signing up, you can go through the Shop Wizard here. This will walk you through the process and get your shop ready for review and activation.

Is This Free for Shops?

Yes it is! There are no Ravelry fees to shop owners for using this service.

How It Works

Participating LYSO's can search for patterns available through this service and sell them to customers through their shops, printing the pattern for the customer in-store if desired. Patterns can also be emailed to the customers and saved in their Ravelry libraries. At the end of each month, shop owners receive a combined invoice for all the patterns sold during that month, which can be paid for through the Invoices section of their Ravelry Pro accounts via PayPal or a credit card.

Pricing Scale

  • For patterns priced at $2.50 (USD) and above, LYS's will receive 40% of the retail price of the patterns.
  • For patterns priced at $2.49 (USD) and below, LYS's will receive $1 of the retail price of the patterns.

Participating Shops

All shops can register their interest by completing the Shop Wizard here, which will help you submit the required information. Each shop's participation is subject to Ravelry's approval. Ravelry reviews each interested shop to ensure that it is an open, brick-and-mortar yarn shop. Online-only shops and festival vendors are not eligible for this service.
